3rd USMS Autumn Stroke School

The main goal of the 3rd USMS Autumn Stroke School project is to familiarize professionals with the current issues in this field: from regulatory documents and guidelines to challenging diagnostic and treatment dilemmas. In particular, the School promotes the formation of a community aimed at the development and support of young specialists through communication and exchange of experiences among participants and speakers, as well as directly among attendees. This format of education enhances the level of young specialists and enables the identification of doctors with an active stance, who are willing to work towards the development of stroke services in Ukraine. Мain topics include facets of current guidelines and recommendations dedicated to diagnostics and treatment both ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke, covering best medical, neurointerventional and preventive strategies. Also program includes practical training for handling management of stroke patients, organizing the pathway, and key points of neurointerventions.
