Call for applications

With the funding from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Oslo we are pleased to announce The Norwegian Ukraine Department to Department Visit Programme.

We will offer a grant of EUR 3000 for 8 pairs of stroke physicians and nurses/allied health professionals based in Ukraine (EUR 1500 per person) to support a short visit of 1-2 weeks, or as a contribution to a longer visit to a Norwegian Neurological Department.

The primary aim is to improve stroke care in Ukraine by exchanging experiences and deepening knowledge in the stroke treatment chain with a multidisciplinary approach. The observers will acquire knowledge on stroke care ranging from prehospital to rehabilitation, including the importance of building multidisciplinary teams. Secondary aim is to promote “stroke mentors” from the hosting institution.

Awardees are expected to send a report after completion of their visit.

Who Should Apply?

Ukrainian physicians, nurses and allied health professionals, with an interest in the field of stroke.

The application deadline for the Norwegian Department Visiting Programme is 30 June 2024.
