Grant support for Ukrainian specialists under the Department to Department Visit program

We are very grateful to our European colleagues for their strong support of our specialists, and we are pleased to share some good news with you!

This year, within the framework of TF4UKR, the ESO committee has also approved 10 grants totaling 1,500 thousand euros for Ukrainian doctors and nurses.

Such grants provide opportunities for internships in European stroke departments.

Last year, a separate version of the Department to Department visit program was implemented for Ukrainian doctors for the first time. Eight out of ten internship participants were Society members, and after completing the visit, they shared their impressions, as we have already written about on our social media and in our Digest.

The main goal of the Department to Department visit program is to exchange experiences that will ultimately contribute to the improvement of stroke services.

The grant will cover expenses during the participants' program visit.

Upon completion of the internship, participants are required to write a report, which will be published in the official ESO blog.
